Marine Diesel Specialists, Inc. was established in 1995 in order to provide world class product support to the marine diesel engine owner.
As a result of several changes in the diesel engine industry at that time we were of the opinion that the level of product support provided to the customer had severely declined. This was evident in that several yacht managers had voiced their dissatisfaction in the ability to obtain qualified, trained and experienced diesel engine technicians to perform repairs to their engines. As a result, I decided to start a company that would be dedicated to the needs of the marine diesel engine owner. Having over 25 years of experience in the diesel engine industry, I was convinced that a company that offered quality service, trained and experienced technicians was much in need.
I feel that we have been successful in that we are always aware of the customers needs and the importance in providing quality product support in a timely manner at a competitive price.

Marine Diesel Specialists, Inc. provides product support including spare parts and service for marine diesel engines, marine transmissions and generators. The company also offers repower service for marine propulsion engine and generator sets, surveys and all phases or maintenance including major overhaul.
MDS, Inc. was established in 1995 and while we are a relatively new company, we are not new to the marine diesel business. The President, Peter Angel, has more than 25 years experience in the diesel engine industry and our technicians have an average of over 15 years of experience.
MDS, Inc. is a company with global capabilities to meet our customers needs. We service a wide variety of vessels including Pleasure Craft, Megayachts, Commercial Vessels and Military applications.
