About Us

MDS was established in 1995. The company founder and President, Peter Angel, realized that several changes in the marine diesel engine industry had lead to a severe decline in the level of product support available to the customer.

Many yacht captains and owners had voiced their dissatisfaction with their ability to obtain qualified and experienced marine diesel technicians to service their engines in South Florida. Pete was confident that he could change all of that, and set out to do so.

Now, 15 years later, MDS is still a company dedicated to the needs of the marine diesel engine owner and operator. Not only does Pete have 40 years of experience in the industry, but also, our technicians are some of the most respected and sought after in the business!
